Mining: TEREX SHM

New, High-Strength Pushbeam Hooks

Mining Technology- Pushbeam Hook Terex SHM is pleased to announce new high-strength Type IV pushbeam hooks and cutter module hooks that will provide additional security for your mining operations. Rated for 300 metric tons (330 short tons), these hooks deliver more muscle to meet the toughest pulling conditions. A full fifty percent stronger than existing hooks, they also provide improved ductility and excellent low temperature toughness.

The new Type IV Hooks are interchangeable with existing hooks and may be distinguished by the ridge on the back of the hook, which protrudes slightly above the pushbeam corner castings. Located on this hook ridge is the hook rating of “300mT TEST LOAD” and the hook's unique serial number. To safeguard your investment, always inspect the corner casting welds on your pushbeam to ensure that they are in safe operating condition. When they become worn, contact Terex SHM for a quote on replacing them with the new Type IV hooks.
